Myth #1 – You should not file your nails back and forth because this leads to cracking. You should only file your nails in a single direction. Actually, back and forth filing of the nails is completely harmless if you use a 240 grit file or finer.

If your nails are yellowing It is most likely that you have a vitamin C deficiency. The easiest and most efficient way to cure this problem is a massage with freshly squeezed lemon, grapefruit or blackcurrant juice. You should also try to include these fruits in your diet.
