Daily care and attention will allow your feet the benefit of looking great and also feeling great. Below you will find advice and a few suggestions which you can include in your foot care routine.

Dealing with fatigue

After washing your feet with soap, rub them with a sponge rock and give them a 2-3 minute massage with cream or lotion. Start at the toes and work in the direction of the sole. This will help the feet relax after a stressful day and make the skin soft and smooth.

Pulsating

If your feet start pulsating at the end of a hard day at work a contrasting bath may be just the thing you need. It will improve blood circulation and tone the feet and skin. Alternate between soaking your feet in cool and warm water. Keep them in the warm water for 2-3 minutes but do not soak them in cold water for more than 10 seconds. Conclude the procedure with cold water. Carefully towel-dry the feet, not forgetting the spaces between the toes. Apply lotion and cover with cotton socks.

Callousness

If your feet are growing callous, then what you need is a hot soap-sodium bath. Add 1 teaspoon of baking soda in one liter of water and soak your feet in it for at least 30 minutes. Afterwards carefully rub the problem areas with a sponge rock. Do not rub the healthy skin, problem areas only! Finally apply lotion designed for treatment of callouses.

Sweating

A lot of women encounter the typically male problem of sweaty feet. The increased activity of sweat glands can cause a number of problems, so if your feet are sweaty make sure to deal with this problem early on. Do not wait for it to develop into something more unhealthy and difficult to treat. Use special products and lotions for sweaty feet or homemade remedies such as the 10 minute soak bath with pine bark, chamomile and peppermint.

Swelling

If your feet are prone to swelling, then hot compresses will help alleviate this problem. Wrap your feet with towels or wash-clothes soaked in warm water, cover with dry towel or thick socks and leave on for the night. This procedure should be done for at least one month and repeated after a month of rest.
