Foot care according to moon phase

There is a saying that goes “Healthy feet mean a healthy body”. Human feet require special care because they are like a remote control for influencing organs all throughout the body. The way this influence is achieved is through massage in the reflective area of the certain organ.

To cleanse the body or influence inflammation and muscle tension, you have to massage your feet, ankles, arches and the reflective areas when the moon is waning in the zodiac signs of Virgo, Gemini or Sagittarius.

To strengthen the body’s regenerative ability, massage the feet and reflective areas when the moon in these zodiac signs is waxing.

Waxing moon is also a good time for a foot bath with chamomile brew and flax seed (add 2 tablespoons of lax seed to a liter of brew).

In Chinese tradition, foot massage is done as preventive and medical treatment. They call it “making the feet happy”, but it also brings happiness to the whole body.

When lovers reciprocally massage their feet during the right moon phases, this is not only good for their body, but also strengthens their relationship and mutual trust.

A foot bath at waning moon in the signs of Virgo, Gemini and Sagittarius will remedy sweaty feet. Just soak them for 20 minutes in warm water to which you have added some oak bark. Profuse sweatiness can chill the feet and lead to fungal infections, so timely treatment of this problem is essential to your foot health.

Strengthening the nail bed, removing warts or calluses from the feet, anti-fungal treatment – all this should be done during the waning moon of Gemini, Virgo and Sagittarius.

Hand and foot baths

Baths can be done with different herbal brews depending on the effect you are trying to accomplish. Especially effective during the waning moon are salt baths for hands and feet. As long as the water is not too hot or too cold, they are an instant relief for fatigue. These baths are also recommended for emotional stress relief and disposing of negative energy. The duration of these procedures should not exceed 9 minutes, because otherwise a person may lose part of his good energy too or begin to feel weakness.
