How to take care of peeling cuticles or skin wedges

First of all you will need to answer the question of whether you have provoked the peeling knowingly or unknowingly. Sometimes the skin around the nail may dry and flake due to improper manicure.

Next, make sure that all of your manicure tools are sharp enough. Before removing the rough skin, you should always soften it with steam or special lotions.

Here is how cuticle care can be combined with hand care – before each manicure session dissolve one tablespoon of sea salt in a glass of warm water and dip your hands up to the wrists for 20 minutes. When your manicure is finished, dip your fingers in warm olive oil for 15 minutes. This will calm the skin as well as moisturize it.
