Chocolate therapy is one of the more pleasurable therapies you can use for your regular foot care. This procedure is mostly preformed in SPA centers, but you can also do it at home. Here is what you will need for it:

4 tablespoons of cocoa powder

3 tablespoons of dry milk powder

10 blocks of chocolate

2 drops of cinnamon oil

2 drops of peppermint oil

½ teaspoon vanilla

4 finely chopped marsh mallow roots

Aside from that, to increase the procedure’s effectiveness it is advisable that you follow with a scrub with 2 tablespoons of sugar and 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.

Fill a basin with warm water to ankle level. Pour in all ingredients except chocolate and mix well. Soak feet for about 4 minutes and add chocolate blocks one by one, gently massaging your feet with each block, allowing it to melt in the warm water. The procedure should last about 7 minutes. Afterwards, scrub your feet with the sugar scrub, rinse with warm water and dry. You can follow up with lotion.

How will this procedure benefit your feet? Cocoa softens the skin, milk acids cleanse. Vanilla, cinnamon and peppermint enhance elasticity, while marsh mallow roots prevent inflammation and irritation. You can find marsh mallow roots in a drug store.
